India might not always have had a population of over a billion individuals, yet the subcontinent has always been home to many faiths, ethnic cultures and realms, so there is much more than one tale below of LGBTQ+ legal rights and recognition. In general, however, India was traditionally tolerant of LGBTQ+ relationships, with the exception of the m
